	South Texas Veterinary Specialists: Board certified doctors in surgery, dermatology, internal medicine, oncology, neurology, emergency and critical care. We refer cases to them regularly and even took our clinic cat “Freebie” to STVS in February 2012. We appreciate their professionalism and care on every case!
	South Texas Veterinary Ophthalmology: We refer all advanced eye conditions to Dr. Rainbow & Dr. Greller, board certified veterinary ophthalmologists in San Antonio.
	HomeAgain Microchips: We use and recommend this microchipping system. In our opinion, ALL pets should be microchipped…ours are!  It is permanent identification that cannot fall off or be misplaced. On the HomeAgain website you can view and update your pet’s information. And remember, once your pet is registered, it is in the database for it’s lifetime! 	Victoria Dog Obedience Club:  Every pet (and owner) needs to learn the basics! This group is made up of experienced trainers who are patient and willing to give your dog the best training possible.
	Dorothy H. O’Connor Pet Adoption Center:  Established in October 2007, providing homeless animals a caring environment with the purpose of adoption of dogs and cats into their own homes. Visit their website for more information, see what’s happening at the shelter and around town, and get involved. You can make a difference!
	Adopt-A-Pet: Rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding loving homes in Victoria County for hundreds of homeless animals every year.
	Victoria City/County Animal Control: Check their website for your lost pet. Report a lost or found pet to their photo database.
	American Heartworm Society: Leading the veterinary profession and the public in the understanding of heartworm disease.
	ASPCA Poison Control Center:  Your best resource for any animal poison-related emergency, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you think that your pet may have ingested a potentially poisonous substance, call (888) 426-4435.
